Chemist Find is an Australian pharmacy directory at chemistfind.com. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse the site, use search or contact us.

Information you send us

You can browse Chemist Find without creating an account.

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide. That may include your name, email address, message, pharmacy listing details, correction notes and public source links.

Technical information

Like most websites, Chemist Find may receive technical information from your browser or device. This can include pages visited, search pages loaded, browser type, device type, referring page, approximate location from network data, error logs and timestamps.

We use this information to run the site, find faults, improve search and understand which parts of the directory need work.

Location features

To help you find a nearby pharmacy, search can suggest a default state or city based on your approximate, network-level location (estimated from your IP address by our content delivery network). This is only an estimate, and you can change or clear it at any time.

If you choose “Near me” on the search page, your browser will ask permission to use your device location. That location is used only in your browser to sort pharmacies by distance — we do not store it or send it to our servers. You can decline and still search by name, suburb, postcode or service.

Pharmacy listing information

Chemist Find publishes public business information about pharmacies. Listings may include pharmacy names, addresses, suburbs, states, postcodes, phone numbers, websites, opening hours, services and other public directory details.

If a listing contains an error, email editor@chemistfind.com with the pharmacy name, address, requested change and a public source we can check.

Cookies and analytics

Chemist Find may use cookies, local storage or analytics tools to keep the site working and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Third-party websites

Chemist Find links to pharmacy websites and other third-party sites. Those sites set their own privacy practices and terms.
